Aegis Legal have recently secured a large settlement for a Claimant against a public house.
The Claimant attended her local pub with her partner and friends to celebrate her birthday.
Unfortunately for her, she slipped on water on the dancefloor and suffered a broken wrist.
Investigations revealed that the water on the dancefloor was rain water which was dripping from a

therefore placed the Claimant at risk.
The Defendant unreasonably refused to accept any responsibility for this accident.

including taking witness statements from 9 different witnesses.
After collating a considerable amount of evidence in relation to the Defendant’s negligence, the
Defendant was forced to reconsider their position and the Claimant’s claim has recently settled in
the sum of £31,000.00.
The Claimant said ‘I feel that this was an excellent result’.
